IGA is currently involved in the following sponsorships

Special Olympics Logo

In April 2001, IGA and Special Olympics Australia teamed up to launch a range of thirty IGA branded products to raise awareness and provide assistance to Special Olympics.

Since 2001, the range has grown to over 100 products, all of which feature the Special Olympics logo. Each time an item in the range is sold IGA provides a percentage of sales to Special Olympics which assists the organisation with the ongoing operational needs of supporting the athletes throughout Australia.

IGA & Athletics Australia

 
In October 2001, IGA and Athletics Australia began working towards a common vision for healthier communities and IGA continues to be an official sponsor of youth athletics in Australia.

This sponsorship encourages children to 'paly athletics'. There are six elements of the IGA sponsorship:

  • IGA Team athletes
  • IGA Hot tracks
  • IGA Schools knockout
  • IGA Junior athletics
  • IGA All schools championships
  • IGA and the Telstra A series
